I'm interested in getting into EMS on VO, but I don't have access in Serco space yet. I'm going to work on that, I have all the other requirements, 7/7/6/8/5 licenses and access to all stations except Serco.
Any tips on how I can improve my Serco standing. I'm not much of a killer yet, so I haven't had any luck with going in there and killing bots. Can I gain any standing by repairing Sercos in Deneb? Probably lose standing with Itan. How about killing bots in Sercos spaces in Deneb, does that work? Any tips welcome. I've been in VO for about a month. I'm an old retired cop and EMS would fit my natural inclinations.

Hey Dave.
What is your character name in VO? I'll keep a lookout for ya.
Repairing Sercos will not get you any faction standing unfortunately. Your best bet is going to be going into a Serco system on the border (you'll have to fly through the turrets that will fire at you near wormholes, so get a fast ship), Geira Rutilus or Initros and kill a bunch of bots. Initros has dynamic hive, so you'll need someone to help you by accepting the Hive Skirmish missions there. You also won't be able to dock/repair at Serco stations until you get your standing up, but I'm sure any EMS member will be glad to assist you and repair you while in Serco space.
There are no bots in Deneb anymore, but it could work if you did a border patrol mission in Deneb (someone in your group would have to accept the Serco mission). Not sure if this would negatively impact your Itani standing, though.

Aikidave is my character, tho' I have Ninjr on UIT and Nukite Yando on Serco. I haven't trained either of the not Itani characters out of the training sector yet.

I've pretty much dumped AikiDave and am building Ninjr as a UIT. For those interested in such trivia the name comes from my CA. license plate on my 600 Ninja Motorcycle. It was the second one in San Jose, CA., with my son's being the first. I gave it away to a teenager about 4 years ago, hope he didn't kill himself. I've investigated 6 fatal acccidents involving riders of 600 Ninas, none of which were the rider's fault. In all 6 cases they moving slowly in traffic and someone turned left in front of them. The deaths were somewhat the driver's fault as none of them were wearing helmets, but the collisions weren't. They were the result of what I warn would be motorcyclists about, M/C riders tend to be invisible in traffic. People pull out in front of U and turn left in front of U, constantly. Constant alertness, and none of those retarded street wheelies, is the price of survival. Never put a scratch on mine or me while I owned it. Other times is a story for another time.

Ninjr has been invited into the Guild, and has accepted. Unfortunately, I was unaware of his low license levels. As such, he has declared to work on raising said licenses, after which he will be trained in the ways of EMS. And all will be happy! ;D

Working, @ 2/3/3/3/1 tonight. I'd like to mention that I've gotten help from Xandar Tol and Wild Thing on several occasions, besides guild personnel. I'm pleased and grateful that there seem to be even more helpful folks than grievers in this game.

Erm, okay, Dave Flory, I need to get an understanding of whether or not you are going to use the Dave Flory account on these forums... if you are, you or I can change it to say Ninjr but I need to get you on an account to let you see the SUPER SECRET part of the forums that no one even knows exists! It's so classified that I'm not even sure what you're going to see. (Hehe, remember LaLaLand? Hehehehe.) Inside joke. Or is it? You'll never know, because it only existed for a day. What's it? Don't expect to find out. Unless you dig. Dig deep. So, Dave Flory or a new account?

SUPER SECRET?! Like LD's hidden, secret stash? I can't seem to see it anymore. And LD, whats your deal with VO? Coming back or not? Things are ever-changing, and are really getting quite good.

Orly?
I was planning on coming back at 2.0, but ya know what?... lemme see. Maybe I'll make my way back into the 'verse, since I certainly trust your opinion on it. (For now, I'll make a trial and fly around a bit and doodle around on chat)
And actually, there's still a private forum that only I can see. I even posted a little on it and I checked it a month later and laughed my butt off. I'm pretty funny, as it turns out. Who would have guessed?
Oh yeah, and what about that occlusion thing? That sounds AWESOME. (I have been keeping up with the updates)

LD, when I signed on here I wasn't sure exactly what my future was so I didn't maintain name consistency with VO, where I was using Aikidave, at that time. My plan in switching to Ninjr on VO was to avoid having sneak into Serco space in order to do stuff that would up my standing there. That worked but I'm spending a lot of time building up all my licenses, again. Six of one and half dozen of another. If it's not much trouble go ahead and change my name here to Ninjr. It'll be easier for people to make the ID from one place to the other. Do whatever you think will make it easier for users here.

Yep, but you've been posting as a Guest, as I've seen... so you just need to be logging in, and I'll change your login screenname to Ninjr.

P.S. The login is still the same as it was before, but now when you're logged in it will say Ninjr.

Back from Calif. where I married my step-son to his sweetie in a beautiful ceremony, if I do say so myself. My licenses are now 5/5/5/5/1 so I guess I'm ready for training when we can make a meet on VO. Keep on keeping on, EMS forever!!
